About

Irina’s love of folklore and decorative arts is reflected in her colorful illustrations. When she paints, Irina says, she lives in a fantasy world of fairy tales and childhood memories.

Irina enjoys both digital imaging and conventional painting with watercolor, egg tempera and oils. Her experience includes art directing of a textile studio, teaching art at Otis College, illustrating greeting cards and children’s books, creating art dolls and hand-painted jewelry.

Irina exhibited at The Optical Allusion Gallery, Pacific Design Center, Chemers Gallery, Gatov Gallery, Esencia Flamenca Studio, among others.

Born in Russia, Irina now lives and works in Long Beach, CA, with her husband and two children.
